On 28 January 1986, the space shuttle Challenger exploded after 73 seconds of flight. It was reaching 3200 km/h. All seven crew members died in this tragic accident in front of millions of witnesses. Among them, Christa McAuliffe, was not a professional astronaut. She was a young schoolteacher. A series of incomprehensible oversights led to the failure of a seal that caused this drama in the sky of Florida.
