Third Gulf War

Written by Daniel DAVAT in War or Peace

On 20 March 2003, George W. Bush gave the order to invade Iraq, the Third Gulf War began. This operation was decided to continue the retaliation against the dictatorships that supported the terrorist movements and provoked the attack on the Wall Trade Center on 11 September 2001. It was the third Gulf War after the first Iraq-Iran war (1980-1988) and the second one launched by his father George Bush with the support of a large coalition to liberate Kuwait invaded by Iraq on 2 August 1990.
