On 8 November 1932, Franklin Roosevelt won the election for the U.S. presidency by a large majority in the Mars-Sun period (From December 1st, 1931 to July 1st, 1933). He was 50 years old. This campaign took place at the beginning of the Great Depression caused by the Wall Street crash of 1929.
